Diagnostic Codes - Yes or No? Please note we extended the deadline to May 8thApril 17th, 2012 2:03pm - Posted By: Maria Smith
Dear Health Center oral health leaders, The National Network for Oral Health Access (NNOHA), in collaboration with the National Association of Community Health Centers, is conducting a brief assessment on the use of Diagnosis Codes in Health Center dental programs. While dental services have traditionally been billed using procedure codes (that refer to what procedure the patient received during a visit), medical services have traditionally been billed using diagnostic codes (that refer to the patient’s condition or diagnosis during a visit). We are asking all Health Centers to complete this brief 5 minute survey by Tuesday, May 8, 2012, even if your dental program does not use Diagnosis Codes. Your invaluable responses will assist us in developing resources for all Health Centers that will be available through NNOHA's website, webinars and presentations at the National Primary Oral Health Conference taking place in the fall of 2012. Please click here to begin the brief Diagnosis Codes assessment Win Prizes! As a special thank you everyone who takes the survey will be entered into a drawing for the following items: Henry Schein high-speed handpiece(NNOHA thanks Henry Schein for donating this prize!) $100 off for the 2012 National Primary Oral Health Conference Registration One of four $25 Amazon or Starbucks Gift CardsFor any questions regarding this questionnaire contact Mitsuko Ikeda at mitsuko@nnoha.org.
