Goal 1: Advocacy/ Policy -  Advocate for legislation, regulation, funding, and policies which ensure the ability of health centers to provide comprehensive primary oral health care to the underserved.

• Objective 1a. Change the 330 law to include comprehensive primary oral health care services to the current definition of primary health care within the next five years.
• Objective 1b. Ensure policy that supports comprehensive dental services.
• Objective 1c. Advocate for expansion of oral health services within Community Health Centers.
• Objective 1d. Form four oral health policy position statements by the end of 2008.
  
  

Goal 2:  Membership Services - A.  Develop a sustainable membership organization of health center oral health providers. B.  Ensure that all NNOHA members have access to the support, information, and resources to deliver high quality care to all those in need.

• Objective 2a. Engage membership dialogue and information sharing through an annual conference.
• Objective 2b. Address the health information technology (HIT) needs of health center oral health programs.
• Objective 2c. Research and develop a Principles and Best Practices document for oral health services in CHC’s.
• Objective 2d.  Provide support and services to oral health clinical quality by sharing information with PCA and CHC staff.
• Objective 2e.  Effectively communicate relevant information to NNOHA members through quarterly newsletters, a periodic list-serve, and an up-to-date website.
• Objective 2f.  Convene a well attended and informative annual conference.
  
  

Goal 3: Strategic Partnerships - NNOHA will develop and nurture partnerships with organizations and individuals that can assist NNOHA in achieving, fulfilling, and furthering the mission of the organization.

• Objective 3a.  Develop strategic partnerships with 5 corporations and other supporting institutions in order to increase resource development.
• Objective 3b.  Identify and strategize key policy issues through comprehensive and collaborative partnerships.
• Objective 3c.  Work in collaboration with several partners to develop strategies to strengthen, recruit, and support health center oral health workforce.
  

Goal 4: Infrastructure - Strengthen the NNOHA infrastructure to support NNOHA operations, strengthen the Board of Directors, and enhance NNOHA’s nationwide impact on the oral health of the underserved.

• Objective 4a.  Develop central administrative operations to coordinate and facilitate goals & objectives.
• Objective 4b.  Establish roles and responsibilities for board members
