Professional Background: Ms. Luana Harris-Scott is the Founder and Managing Member of On Par Productions (OPP), a successful conference management business.  OPP has more than twenty (20) years of experience overseeing and managing teams of professionals in the event planning industry.  OPP has extensive experience in project management and support to non-profits, government, non-government, academic organizations and businesses include overseeing contracts for the National Network for Oral Health Access (NNOHA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).  

Areas of expertise include conference and event management, document development, summary writing/editing, and overall conference logistics. OPP supports a wide range of subject matters including health information technology, disease prevention, workforce, practice management, inter-professional clinical competencies, and safety net clinic resources including the NNOHA Annual Conference.

Key Responsibilities: OPP works closely year-round with the NNOHA Staff in coordinating the NNOHA Annual Conference.  OPP’s primary responsibilities include but are not limited to site selection and contract negotiations; management of hotel room block and contract obligations, assisting in conference financial planning and budgeting; all audio-visual requirements; soliciting and coordinating vendors for the exhibit hall.

Notable Achievements: Through OPP’S support over the years, NNOHA was able to produce a Board manual, white papers, salary surveys, technical papers, clinical operations manuals and meeting proceedings. Among the many products of our work, OPP oversaw the production of an 8-chapter clinical operations manual—guiding the work from initial meeting through editing, document layout, graphic design and final production. 

To keep up with Industry standards, Luana is an active member of Meeting Professionals International and the Society of Government Meeting Professionals

Personal Interests: Luana is a Board Member of Colorado Feeding Kids, a non-profit organization in Denver whos mission is to provide nutritious food to impoverished people in Colorado.  She enjoys Pilates and is currently on the waiting list for the City Park Women’s Golf Team.

Fun Fact: Luana can roller skate (4 wheels please) and play the violin (easy level).
