Live webinar 4/11/19

National Network for Oral Health Access (NNOHA) and The Association of Asian Pacific Community Health Organizations (AAPCHO) have partnered to offer this webinar on oral health care and oral health outcomes for Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and other Pacific Islanders (AA&NHPIs).

In 2017, nearly 1.2 million AA&NHPIs received care at community health centers. AA&NHPIs are highly diverse in their culture, language, and health needs, representing more than 50 ethnic groups and 100 languages. AA&NHPIs have cultural and historical challenges related to chronic disease management. In this webinar, learn about the barriers of health care for AA&NHPIs. AAPCHO will share statistics on chronic disease prevalence, oral health status and access to health care for this population. Asian Health Services’ Dr. Huong Le will also present on their health center’s experience in providing oral health care for AA&NHPIs.
