JOB DESCRIPTION

We are a federally qualified health center (FQHC). Our mission is to provide quality primary and preventative health care services to those in need.

We are seeking a new General Dentist to join our team. Your role will be to provide direct patient care to children and adults and ensuring that dental assistants use proper techniques and methods in the clinic.

As a member of the dental department, you will work with other dentists, dental hygienists, and dental assistants and report to our Dental Director.

What You Will Do:

  • Use available resources in diagnosis and treatment.

  • Participate in performance and improvement programs and activities.

  • See at least 15 patients per 8-hour day, unless unusual circumstances arise, e.g. difficult surgical procedure. Has to see walk-in patients.

  • Use Formulary prescriptions except in cases in which patient care could be compromised.

  • Completes all charting in a timely and complete manner.

  • Adhere to all safety standards and protocols and cooperate with the Safety Rep for your team.

  • Provides information for those that require specialists.

  • Provides clinical direction to the Dental Assistants in proper technique and methods.

  • Work with personal information and maintain patient confidentiality.
