Carolina Family Dental Center is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist at our Elm City, NC location! We can fill the position as either full time or part-time working three days a week.
The Dental Hygienist provides oral health care that demonstrates proficiency in technical aspects and a thoughtful approach to oral health education. The Dental Hygienist actively strives to ensure comfort and continuity of care for patients.
The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to routine prophylaxis, non-surgical periodontal treatment, soft tissue management, periodontal charting, charting existing conditions and proposed treatment, documenting accurate clinical notes, applying fluoride, placing sealants, taking radiographs, and providing oral health instruction and demonstration.
Minimal Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED.
· Current NC Dental Hygiene License.
· BLS Certification.
· Great communication and patient interaction skills.
· Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
· Basic computer skills.
· Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
· Constant standing and walking, occasional bending, stooping, lifting, reaching forward and overhead.
