Job Description: The largest Federally Qualified Health Center dental program in the state of NH seeks a full-time Dentist for a position in the seacoast area of NH. They have 12 treatment rooms in two state-of-the-art clinical sites serving two counties in NH as well as patients from southern Maine and boarding NH counties. They are a dynamic general dental practice that cares for entire families throughout their lifespan. Their dental residents and dental students help them to provide exceptional care to their patients. They provide general dentistry services and refer out for specialty care when needed. Their outreach into the community includes large school-based programs and an emergency dental van. They are truly a unique program that is constantly evolving to better serve our communities.
The site is a network of community health centers providing primary care, pediatrics, dental care, prenatal care, behavioral health counseling, substance use disorder treatment, mobile health services, WIC, social work services, a pharmacy, parenting classes, playgroups and home visiting. The health center serves 20,000 patients in need of affordable care and has over 300 employees dedicated to their mission. The site had nearly 4,000 dental patients in 2021 and is a training site for dental student externships.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of dentistry.
Completion of an accredited general practice residency program is preferred.
Knowledge of public health principles and practices preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills required.
Unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the State of New Hampshire and current CPR certification required.
Active DEA Certification required.
