We are seeking a compassionate, collaborative Dentist to join our integrated dental team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive general dentistry services to patients of all ages, backgrounds, and dental needs. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated dental professional passionate about making a positive impact in our community.


Winding Waters Clinic is a non-profit Community Health Center on a mission to improve the health of Wallowa County, Oregon. Our team provides high-quality, affordable, and accessible dental, medical, and mental health care for our community, regardless of ability to pay.


Essential Duties:

Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including oral cancer screenings

Diagnose and treat a wide range of dental conditions, including tooth decay, gum disease, and oral infections

Perform restorative procedures, including delivery of fillings, crowns, bridges, and dentures

Manage dental emergencies and provide appropriate treatment and/or referrals

Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, coordinated, patient-centered care

Participate in community outreach programs and events to promote dental health


Qualifications:

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school

Valid Oregon dental license and DEA registration

Strong diagnostic, treatment planning, and clinical skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, team members, and community partners

Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate, and culturally competent dental care
