Valley View Health Centers, CAC of Pike County is searching for a full-time general dentist to join their health centers located in beautiful, southern Ohio. Are you an individual looking to advance your career, be a part of an expanding oral health program, that includes developing and building a rural, general dentistry residency program?
A dentist with Valley View Health Centers is leader and clinical supervisor to the dental team. As part of the team, we provide comprehensive and appropriate dental care to patients; maintaining and restoring the oral health of VV patients. The dentist will ensure delivery of dental care is efficient and of high quality, demonstrating a commitment to the overall mission and values of the Pike CAC organization.
New graduates are welcome to apply. The ideal candidate will hold or will be eligible to obtain an Ohio dental license, have one or more years’ experience in public health dentistry, prior experience working with young/preschool aged children in a dental setting, and experience with digital radiography/electronic health records.
Essential Job Functions (include, but not limited to the following):
Provides comprehensive and emergency dental services, including diagnosis/treatment plans, general restorative procedures, minor oral surgery, uncomplicated endodontics, and fixed and removable prosthodontic procedures as set forth by VV clinical guidelines and OSDB laws and rules.
Exercise professional judgement in the performance of dental care/treatment provided consistent with VV policies/procedures and standards in dental care, QI activities, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
Develop and maintain positive relationships and collaborations with other dentists and dental staff members. Ensure success of each clinic’s operations through collaborative support and working relationships.
Effect overall clinical results. Meet or exceed all measurable standards of care, including overall clinical, quality, and productivity goals.
Valley View Health Centers is a PCMH recognized Federally Qualified Health Center, with seven locations in Southern Ohio. VVHC is mission driven, providing care to all members of the communities that the organization serves. VVHC provides integrated healthcare that includes behavioral health, dental, MAT, pediatrics, primary care, prenatal, and WIC.
