The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a general dentist for a community health center, also called a federally qualified health center, in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Mission: To provide affordable, comprehensive, high-quality health care to the entire community.
Position Details:
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM – 5PM, with at least one evening and one admin day.
Clinic Hours: (M-Th): 8AM-7PM, (F): 8AM- 5PM
No weekends
Appointments: 60 minute time slots
See 8-10 patients per day on average.
5 operatories
Current Dental Staff: 2 dentists, 2 dental hygienists, 4.5 dental assistants
EHR: Wisdom/Epic
Other notes: Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!
What is a community health center?
Community health centers are the nation’s largest source of comprehensive primary care for medically under-resourced communities and populations.
Through an integrated care model, including medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services, patients can access comprehensive, coordinated services often under one roof!
Requirements
Requires graduation from an accredited school of dentistry;
Possession of valid D.D.S/ D.M.D. degree;
Current Iowa license, federal DEA and Iowa CSA in good standing;

Eligible for up to $50,000 in student loan repayment with two year commitment & option to renew.
$140k - $165k annual salary
$2,000 for continuing education annually + 5 days
Professional association and licensure fees paid for.
401k retirement plan with 3% match
20 PTO days + 10 paid holidays + 3 sick days
Contract Length: 2 year minimum
