Overview:


Works for a Federally Qualified Health Center


 Duties and Responsibilities:


Provision of dental hygiene

Perform all duties as per state license

Performance of preapical, bite wing, occlusal, and panoramic radiographs if needed

Chair side dental assisting, if needed

Front desk duties if needed, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, filing charts and copying

Maintain patient recall system

Keep abreast of current information on the management  of the medically-compromised patient

Maintain and provide  proof of current State of Texas license

Comply with all policies and procedures

Required to maintain confidentiality for patients and patients records

Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager or Vice President of Clinical Affairs

 Education, Experience, Licensure/Certification and Skills/Abilities Related Requirements:


Licensed by the State of Texas

Must be able to hear (needs to be able to communicate with other staff while we are wearing masks and while hands are occupied)

Must be able to wear latex or vinyl gloves

Continuing Education and Training Requirements:


Participates in trainings required by the agency, funding source(s), and/or as required by licensure if applicable.
