Job Summary: Dental Hygienists provide direct patient care and responsibilities include screening patients during checkups, reviewing/updating a patient's dental history, providing home care instructions to improve a patient's oral health, providing preventive dental care services like dental sealants and fluoride treatments, taking x-rays and reviewing them for signs of dental disease. Dental Hygienists must demonstrate professionalism to support the delivery of quality customer service, in accordance with ESRHS' Mission Statement and Standards of Personal Conduct Policy. 


-Graduate of an accredited program approved by the American Dental Association, successful completion of Dental Hygiene National Board, Dental Hygiene SRTA exam, and Licensed through Virginia Board of Dentistry. 

-Must complete and maintain all recertification requirements for continued dental hygiene licensure.
