Recognizing that achieving high-impact, sustainable improvement in oral health care access and equity demands systems-level, policy-driven reform, we are thrilled to announce the launch of the first-ever NNOHA Advocacy Collaborative! Spanning 10 months, the Advocacy Collaborative is an innovative program for oral health leaders, designed to provide them with the knowledge and hands-on training required to advance systems-level oral health reform in their respective states.

Combining both didactic and experiential learning in both in-person and virtual formats, the Advocacy Collaborative will introduce participants to the fundamentals of policy advocacy and immerse them directly in the process. The program will culminate in the development of individual advocacy plans specific to each participant’s area of focus, as well as a comprehensive NNOHA Advocacy Toolkit that can be leveraged by members nationwide. Advocacy Collaborative participants will benefit from peer-to-peer learning opportunities as well as group and 1:1 coaching provided by experts in the oral health policy advocacy arena.
