The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing and performing daily operational finance and accounting functions. This position reports to the Director of Finance and Executive Director, and works closely with all program staff, to ensure that all duties in the finance and accounting department are accomplished in a timely, accurate and well-documented manner.

The Accounting Manager is responsible for ensuring accounting principles and policies and procedures are followed to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. The position manages deadlines and accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, managing government and private grant reporting and year-end audit preparation. The Accounting Manager interacts with all levels of the organization which requires strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
