Health centers can engage with individuals living in public housing to increase access to oral health care. National Network for Oral Health Access (NNOHA) and National Center for Health in Public Housing (NCHPH)are partnering to offer this free 1-hour webinar. The webinar will describe strategies for health center dental programs to connect people living in public housing to oral health care services. The webinar will also share strategies to enhance oral health literacy for the community. It will discuss methods to partner with community organizations to help support people in public housing in finding employment and healthcare services with health centers.


1 CDE offered. Attendees must register and attend via their own individual Zoom registration link to receive CDE credit.


Objectives:

  1. Describe opportunities for health centers to support individuals in public housing to receive oral health services.

  2. Discuss strategies to optimize and enhance oral health literacy for community members.

  3. Learn methods for engaging with individuals in public housing to access oral health care and seek potential employment opportunities within the health center.
