RESPSONSIBILITIES


•  Must have the knowledge to examine patients, diagnose dental disease, and provide proper cure in terms of medicines and surgical treatments.

•  Must be capable of educating patients with general care, presentations, and cleanness of teeth at regular time intervals.  

•  Have proper knowledge of the latest dental treatment techniques.

•  Decide the replacement of teeth, cleaning, fillings, extractions with use of hand instruments, medications, etc.

•  Needs to know the treatment plans of patient and should suggest suitable healing according to the condition.

•  Must be able to assist with recruiting staff.

•  Have the potential to maintain and train the staff, if required in an emergency.

•  Ability to motivate the staff to work tenderly, be friendly with patients, and maintain dental treatment standards.

•  Establish a friendly relation with the patients to educate him/her about the complications of treatment and duration of healing process. 

•  Must prepare a dentist case file including medical history and current dental formation.

•  Perform other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS

•  Graduate from an accredited school of dentistry

•  Licensed as a Dentist, in the state of Missouri.

•  BLS – Basic Life Support

•  Experience in practice and in serving patients from low-income economic status.

•  Board-certified, or eligible.

•  Demonstrate professional commitment to providing services to medically under-served persons.

•  Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

•  Computer literate in electronic mail, word processing, and office management system software.

   A.Adequate vision, sight, speech, and hearing to meet core duties of the positions.  Ability to reach, stoop, walk, and lift 25 pounds. 

   B.Ability to motivate and educate patients.

   C.Maintain a professional appearance.
