Responsibilities:

• Provide preventive dental care, including prophylaxis, periodontal scaling, root planning, and fluoride applications.

• Take and develop dental radiographs and assist the Dentist as needed.

• Educate patients on oral hygiene, dental health, and treatment plans.

• Maintain accurate clinical records and manage patient recall systems.

• Sterilize instruments and adhere to infection control protocols.

• Participate in community outreach and health education initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.

• Licensed to practice Dental Hygiene in the State of Vermont.

• CPR/BLS certification is required.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients of all ages.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
