Oropharyngeal cancer poses a growing health risk, particularly for individuals living in public housing communities. This national webinar, presented by the National Center for Health in Public Housing (NCHPH) and the National Network for Oral Health Access (NNOHA), will highlight best practices for integrating oropharyngeal cancer screening into dental and primary care settings. Participants will learn to identify key risk factors such as tobacco use and Human Papillomavirus (HPV) infection and explore prevention strategies in health center settings including HPV vaccination and patient education to support early detection and improved health center patient outcomes.

Describe the link between oral health, HPV, and oropharyngeal cancer.
Identify screening and prevention strategies, including HPV vaccination.
Discuss health center approaches to promoting HPV vaccination and cancer prevention.
