Are you a passionate General Dentist seeking a fulfilling opportunity to make a difference?


The Iowa Primary Care Association is in search of a General Dentist to join a new community health center dental site in Clarion, IA.


About the health center:


This community health center is a cornerstone of comprehensive primary care, serving as a critical resource for under-resourced patients. They integrate medical, dental, and behavioral health to ensure ensure all patients receive coordinated, all-encompassing care, under one roof.


Position Details:


New location ready to start providing dental care to the community!


Clinic Hours:


Mon- Fri: 7am-5pm

Your schedule: Mon-Fri: 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm

Evenings: none

Weekends: none

Call schedule: none


Patient load: 16 per day + hygiene checks


Operatories: 4 dental, 2 hygiene


Team: 1 dentist(this position), 1 dental hygienist, and 2 dental assistants.


EHR: Epic Wisdom


What you will typically see: limited/emergency and comprehensive exams, restorative on both children and adults, root canals, removable and fixed prosthodontics - possibly using digital dentistry, extractions including surgical.


What you will typically refer out: implant work, orthodontics, complex oral surgery, endodontics.


Ideal candidate: Bilingual in Spanish, although not required. There is a high Spanish speaking population.


Requirements

DDS/DMD degree from an approved dental school


Benefits

  • Competitive Salary: $170,000 - $240,000/year based on experience.

  • Sign on Bonus: $20,000

  • Student Loan Repayment: Eligible for up to $50,000 for a two-year commitment, with renewal options through state and federal programs

  • Insurance: Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and short and long-term disability insurance.

  • Contract Length: 3 years

  • Professional Support: Professional dues and fees covered.

  • Malpractice Insurance: FTCA malpractice coverage.

  • Continuing Education: $3,000/year and 5 days for CME

  • Time Off: 20 PTO days and 9 paid holidays per year.

  • Retirement Plan: 401k with 5% employer match.
