Location: Fourth Street Clinic – Salt Lake City, UT

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM

Join Fourth Street Clinic as our next Dental Director and be part of a mission-driven team providing high-quality dental care to individuals experiencing homelessness and other underserved populations. We're looking for a clinically skilled and forward-thinking leader to oversee all aspects of our dental program—from direct patient care to program strategy and integration with medical and behavioral health services.


What You’ll Do:

•  Provide compassionate, comprehensive dental care including diagnostics, preventive and restorative services, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.

•  Supervise and mentor dental assistants, hygienists, students, and volunteers.

•  Ensure clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and safety standards across the dental program.

•  Lead quality improvement initiatives, staff development, and strategic planning.

•  Collaborate across departments and with external partners to ensure integrated, trauma-informed care.


What You’ll Bring:

•  DDS or DMD degree and valid Utah dental license.

•  DEA certification and current BLS certification.

•  At least 5 years of clinical experience (2+ years in a leadership role preferred).

•  Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

•  Experience serving vulnerable or underserved populations.

•  Dedication to equity, compassion, and team-based care.
