An introduction to why the redesign of a safety net dental program is vitally important to maintaining access, creating financial sustainability and general oral health outcomes that are meaningful and documentable for the population serving this cause. This course will break down dental into 5 domains, discuss the metrics utilized to measure success in each domain, demonstrate benchmarks for metrics, discuss which metrics were achieved in 2015 in health centers, educate the learners related to strategies and action steps to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in each domain.
