1.0 FTE: Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday (4x 10hr.) Shifts
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Dentist to join our team at the Mid County Dental Clinic and lead the charge in providing high-quality, affordable dental care to our community. Our Dentists provide direct dental treatment which includes the provision of care within all fields of dentistry, including urgent care, operative dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, periodontics, prevention and pediatrics. Examinations, diagnosis and treatment are required. Appropriate review and management of medical histories is necessary. Dentists are also responsible for the maintenance of accurate diagnosis, consent and treatment records. Creates a work culture of respect, trust and understanding for the highly diverse populations the Health Department serves in the office and in the community.
Integrated Clinical Services (ICS) is the largest Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Oregon providing quality health services for people who experience barriers to accessing care. Our vision is to provide services that are integrated and connected to support optimal health, reducing wait times, and optimizing access.
What You’ll Do:
You will be responsible for examining, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of dental conditions, from routine cleanings to complex surgical procedures.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting oral exams, interpreting radiographs, and developing treatment plans
Performing preventative, restorative, endodontic and surgical dental procedures
Provide treatment for all ages
Managing dental emergencies and post-operative care
Providing patient education on oral health and disease prevention
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
This position requires:
A strong foundation in general dentistry with the ability to handle complex cases
Excellent communication and patient management skills
Experience working with diverse populations
Current licensure and DEA registration
Current Oregon Nitrous Oxide permit
