Do you know an outstanding oral health practitioner, advocate, or organization making a difference in underserved communities?
Each year, NNOHA honors individuals and organizations who are advancing community oral health through leadership, clinical excellence, and advocacy. Awards will be presented at the 2026 NNOHA Annual Conference in Seattle. Nominations are due by July 31

John McFarland Leadership Award
This award recognizes an individual or organization that has demonstrated exceptional leadership and vision in advancing community-oriented oral health and improving access to care for underserved populations.
Outstanding Dental Clinician Award
This award recognizes a dental professional or dental team member involved in direct patient care who demonstrates exceptional clinical excellence and commitment to improving oral health outcomes for underserved populations. This award recognizes a dental professional or dental team member involved in direct patient care who demonstrates exceptional clinical excellence and commitment to improving oral health outcomes for underserved populations.
Oral Health Champion Award
This award recognizes an individual or organization that has gone above and beyond in promoting the importance of oral health, particularly for underserved populations. The nominee does not need to be a dental professional and may come from sectors such as public health, education, policy, advocacy, philanthropy, or community leadership.
