Professional Background: Candace is a registered dental hygienist with over 10 years of experience in dental public health. She has committed her career to improving the oral health of underserved populations with expertise in workforce optimization, interprofessional practice, health equity, and expanding access to care. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Health and a Master’s of Science in Dental Hygiene.
Key Responsibilities: With NNOHA, Candace oversees and develops educational tools and resources for healthcare professionals. Candace speaks at conferences nationwide on strategies to provide equitable, high-quality oral health care to all. She leads NNOHA’s initiatives focused on cultivating and maintaining strategic partnerships.
Notable Achievements: Candace serves on various Boards and advisory workgroups focused on enhancing health equity and public health initiatives.
Personal Interests: She lives in Denver, Colorado with her husband, daughter, and two dogs.
Fun Fact: Candace can play four different musical instruments!
