Patients with developmental disabilities experience many barriers to achieve oral health. This webinar will discuss the background of dental care for patients with developmental disabilities. Dr. Ray Lyons and Dr. Alicia Grady from New Mexico Department of Health will describe their dental program that specializes in providing dental care for patients with developmental disabilities. They will discuss oral manifestations, treatment adaptations, and barriers to oral health care.
